Fried Ravioli is a delicious appetizer that ranks high on our list of restaurant favorites. Bite sized, breaded and deep fried, it’s a whole new way to enjoy ravioli!

This recipe uses an air fryer rather than a deep fryer, refrigerated ravioli and jarred marinara sauce to replicate a healthier, but just as delicious version at home.

What You’ll Need to make Toasty Air Fryer Ravioli

  • Refrigerated Ravioli (10 oz package) – This is the premade fresh ravioli typically sold near the deli in the refrigerator section.

  • Bread Crumbs – Regular or seasoned. You can also substitute Panko (Japanese style bread. crumbs) if you prefer a crunchier coating.

  • Pantry Spices – Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt & pepper.

  • Parmesan Cheese – grated. Feel free to use the “green shaker” Parmesan cheese.

  • Eggs – 3 large eggs, lightly beaten. This helps the seasoned bread crumb mixture to stick to the ravioli.

  • Olive Oil – It is important to spritz the breaded ravioli with olive oil prior to putting in the air fryer to help make the breading crispy.

  • Marinara Sauce – for serving. We love to make our own Pantry Marinara Sauce but you can buy premade refrigerated alongside the premade ravioli or you can purchase jarred marinara sauce in the pasta aisle.
