Fried Ravioli is a delicious appetizer that ranks high on my list of restaurant favorites. Bite sized, breaded and deep fried, it’s a whole new way to enjoy ravioli! This recipe uses an air fryer rather than a deep fryer, refrigerated ravioli and jarred marinara sauce to replicate a healthier, but just as delicious version at home. These will keep you coming back for more!
How do you make Fried Ravioli in an Air Fryer?
Bring a medium sized pot of water to a boil, or fill a microwave safe medium sized bowl of water and put in the microwave for 3-4 minutes until boiling. Remove from the package and place the refrigerated raviolis into hot water bath for five minutes until softened. Drain.
While the ravioli is softening, in a small bowl, combine the bread crumbs (or Panko), Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until well combined. Set aside. In a second small bowl, combine 3 eggs and salt and pepper to taste. Whisk until foamy.
One at a time, dip each ravioli into the egg mixture and then press into the bread crumb mixture, coating both sides. In batches, arrange ravioli in a single layer on greased tray in air-fryer basket; spritz with olive oil. Leave some room for air flow between them. Cook at 350 degrees until lightly browned, 8-10 minutes per batch.
Remove from air fryer and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
