What You’ll Need to make 5 Minute Southwest Ranch Sauce
- Sour Cream – We use regular sour cream but you can use light sour cream, plain yogurt or Greek yogurt instead. We use half sour cream and half mayo to make the sauce lighter.
- Mayonnaise – We use regular full fat mayonnaise in this recipe but lite mayonnaise may also be used.
- Powdered Ranch Dressing Mix – 1 1/2 tablespoons, which is half of a packet.
- Taco Seasoning – We use Homemade Taco Seasoning but you can also use packaged. You only need one teaspoon. If you don’t have taco seasoning, use a teaspoon of cumin instead.
- Milk – We use whole milk but you can also use skim milk or 2% milk.
- Lime Juice – Lime juice adds a tangy brightness and acidity. You can use the juice from one small lime or 1 tablespoon of bottled.
