Fresh Lime Chimichurri Sauce is an easy to make vibrant green sauce packed full of fresh herbs and olive oil. Bright and delicious, it’s the perfect marinade for seafood and vegetables!

Chimichurri sauce is a light pesto-like sauce that adds a burst of bright flavor to just about everything. A simple blend of fresh herbs that takes less than 5 minutes to make, it is delicious, fresh and totally customizable to your tastes.

This version uses lime juice to kick up the flavor even more, making it a great addition to seafood, chicken or vegetables!

  • extra virgin olive oil
  • fresh parsley
  • fresh dill
  • fresh cilantro
  • medium lime
  • garlic cloves
  • salt & pepper

How to Make Fresh Lime Chimichurri Sauce

Fresh Lime Chimichurri Sauce is the perfect addition to seafood or vegetables. A delicious vibrant green sauce that takes less than 5 minutes to make and adds a bright burst of flavor!

Place all ingredients into a food processor.

Cover and pulse until mostly smooth.

Finished Fresh Lime Chimichurri Sauce in a bowl.

Use immediately (see below) or cover and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 medium lime juiced
  • 3 garlic cloves chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
