Simple and flavorful, Savory Baked Mushrooms are an awesome stand alone side dish or a great addition to pizza, pasta or just about anything else!

Side dishes that pair with all sorts of different mains are a great thing to have in your back pocket. We love mushrooms and this recipe offers a lighter take on a family favorite while still keeping all the flavor!

What you’ll need to make Savory Baked Mushrooms

  • cooking spray
  • fresh mushrooms any type, cut into bite sized pieces
  • garlic powder
  • kosher salt
  • black pepper
  • dried chopped rosemary
  • olive oil

How to make Savory Baked Mushrooms

Making better food choices doesn’t have to come at the expense of flavor. These baked mushrooms are a great side dish for pretty much anything and they are super easy to make!

Spraying cooking spray onto mushrooms on a baking sheet.

Preheat oven to 375° with the rack in the middle. Line a large baking sheet with foil.

Spread the mushrooms out evenly on the baking sheet. Spray with 4-5 sprays of cooking spray to coat then sprinkle the garlic powder, salt, pepper and chopped rosemary over the mushrooms.

Place into oven and roast at 375°F for 15 minutes.

Remove pan from the oven, drain off any excess liquid. Drizzle the olive oil over the mushrooms and stir.

Place back into the oven and roast until lightly browned and starting to crisp, about 15 more minutes.

Stir and serve immediately. Enjoy!
