In our house, a stir fry is a delicious and healthy way to use up all of the things in the crisper that need to get used before they get thrown out. Simple Stir Fry Sauce pulls everything together and creates a great weeknight dinner that everybody loves!
I often make this in a mason jar because then I can just shake it up to combine it. It can also be made in a bowl and combined with a whisk.
Combine cornstarch, ginger, garlic and brown sugar in a small mason jar or bowl. Stir until the cornstarch is completely incorporated.
Add soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil and chicken broth. Seal the jar and shake until well combined or whisk together if using a bowl. Store in refrigerator until ready to use.
This Simple Stir Fry Sauce may not be fancy but it is delicious!
When using, make sure that you shake or stir it first so that it is well combined. When you add to the stir fry, be sure to let it boil and bubble for at least three minutes so that it thickens up.
Refrigerate any leftover sauce in an airtight container for up to a week. Enjoy!
