It’s funny just how fast you can throw something together in a pinch. With just a few ingredients, you can have fresh garden salsa in 5 minutes or less that is delicious and preservative free.

If you’ve not ever made homemade salsa before, the directions are crazy easy. Chop, mix, chill and serve. I like to put the onion, jalapeno, and cilantro into a food processor and pulse a few times. I use purple onion for color and flavor but regular onion will work too. Chopping the Roma tomatoes by hand will keep the salsa chunky.

Place everything into a bowl, add salt and lime juice and stir. This can be eaten right away or refrigerated until ready to use. The flavor of this salsa is amazing as the individual ingredients come together in a vibrant burst. This is easy, quick and delicious. Enjoy!
