How to make One Pan Italian Sausage Supper
This sheet pan meal is good for you, as well as colorful and delicious! It includes sweet Italian sausage, carrots, potatoes, zucchini, broccoli and red peppers.
Make sure that the veggies are all cut to about the same size so that everything cooks evenly and is ready at the same time. It makes a huge difference!
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly spray a large baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside.
Cut all vegetables into bite sized pieces and set aside and cut the sausage into bite sized pieces.
The sausage can be whatever kind of Italian sausage your family likes. If you prefer a leaner sausage like chicken or turkey it will work just as well as pork.
In a large bowl, combine all seasonings and olive oil. Whisk together until well combined.
The mixture of seasonings, olive oil and grated Parmesan cheese make up the flavor base for this dinner. Fresh Parmesan can be used but feel free to use the green shaker kind as it works just as well!
Add prepared vegetables and sausage to the bowl and toss until coated.
Pour mixture onto prepared baking sheet. Spread out evenly.
Bake for 15 minutes in the 400 degree oven then remove and stir.
Return to oven for an additional 15 minutes until veggies are crisp tender and sausage is cooked through. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
