- Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Add flour and whisk to form a paste.
- Add beer and Worcestershire sauce and whisk to blend. Then whisk in milk, mustard powder and garlic powder.
- Once thickened and incorporated, reduce the heat to low.
- Begin adding the shredded cheese 1/2 cup at a time, stirring after each addition. Repeat until melted and smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir and transfer to a small food warmer for serving.
- Serve with pretzel bites, chips, veggies or cut bread bites. Enjoy!
