Method
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line two baking sheets with silicone baking pads or parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, using a mixer, cream together the butter and sugars.
- Add the eggs and vanilla to the bowl and mix until incorporated.
- Add the flour, baking soda and salt and mix until completely combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and 1 cup of the M&M’s.
- Using a large cookie scoop (about 3 tablespoons), scoop the cookie dough onto the baking sheet, placing cookies about 2 inches apart.
- Bake the cookies for 12 minutes until slightly browned on the edges.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes. Push the extra M&M's into the still warm cookies on the baking sheet if desired. Cool slightly before serving.
- Store in an airtight container or zip top bag for up to 3 days. Enjoy!
