Method
- In a small saucepan combine the soy sauce, 1 cup of water, ginger, garlic powder, packed brown sugar and honey.
- Whisk together and heat to a simmer over medium heat.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the remaining 1/4 cup of water and the cornstarch. Stir until dissolved. Set aside.
- Once the sauce has started to bubble, whisk in the cornstarch mixture. The sauce will thicken right away.
- Remove from heat and use immediately or cool and store covered in the refrigerator until ready to use. Enjoy!
