Method
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper and set aside.
- Put the oats into the bowl of a food processor with the blade attachment. Pulse 12-15 times until the oats become a coarse powder.
- Add peanut butter and bananas to the food processor and pulse until completely combined.
- Finally, add in the whole wheat flour and pulse just until combined. Remove from food processor to a lightly floured surface.
- Using a rolling pin, roll the dough until it is about 1/4 inch thick. Using a cookie cutter (or knife), cut the dough into individual bite sized treats and place onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake small to medium sized treats for 20 minutes until slightly puffed and browned on the bottom. Leave larger treats in for up to 5 minutes longer, but keep an eye on them!
- Remove from oven and allow to cool on the baking sheet.
- Cool completely before sharing with the pups. Stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator, these treats will stay good for up to two months or may be stored in the freezer for up to six months. Enjoy!
