Method
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
- Cut the crusts off of the sandwich bread and discard. Cut the bread into bite sized pieces and spread the bread cubes out in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Finely chop the onion and layer over the bread pieces in the baking dish.
- Cook the breakfast sausages in a skillet over medium heat until slightly browned. Remove from the skillet, cut into bite sized pieces and evenly distribute in the baking dish.
- Cut the Canadian bacon into bite sized pieces and cook in the same skillet until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and layer over the other ingredients in the baking dish.
- Evenly distribute the shredded cheese over the meats in the baking dish.
- In a large bowl or measuring cup, add eggs and using a whisk, beat the eggs until frothy. Whisk in milk and dry mustard powder until completely incorporated.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layered ingredients in the baking dish.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until golden brown and set.
- Allow to rest 5 minutes. Cut into pieces and serve immediately. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
