- Drain the thawed frozen spinach by lining a colander with paper towels and dumping the thawed spinach into the colander. Wrap the paper towel around the spinach and squeeze the water out of the spinach. Remove as much of the water as you can and then put the drained spinach into a medium bowl.
- Add the sour cream, mayonnaise, dried soup mix, chopped water chestnuts, and chopped green onions to the bowl.
- Stir until well combined. Chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours up to overnight.
- Serve with sourdough bread chunks, assorted vegetables, or crackers. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
