Method
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- Rinse and dry mushrooms. Cut in half (or in chunks if using large Portabellas) and place into into a cast iron skillet.
- Drizzle olive oil and Balsamic vinegar over mushrooms. Add sliced garlic cloves, thyme leaves and salt and pepper to taste. Toss to coat.
- Place into the oven and cook for 5-7 minutes. Stir and then return to the oven for about five minutes more.
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes
A meatless meal idea using these Balsamic Portabellas is to lightly toss some pasta with olive oil, Parmesan cheese and salt and pepper and serve these on top. Simple recipe but very flavorful!
