Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup butter plus extra to grease the pan
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows 10 oz
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 5 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal

Method
 

  1. Generously butter an 8x8 (or 9x9) inch square pan and set aside.
  2. Melt 1/4 cup of butter in large saucepan over medium-low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until almost completely melted.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract and stir until the mixture is completely smooth. Remove from heat.
  4. Add Fruity Pebbles cereal. Stir with a spatula or wooden spoon until the cereal is well coated.
  5. Using buttered waxed paper or a spatula, press mixture evenly into prepared pan.
  6. Cut into squares when cool. Best if made and served on the same day. Enjoy!

Notes

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS Using a large microwave safe bowl, heat butter, marshmallows and vanilla on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until smooth. Then add Fruity Pebbles and follow the remainder of the recipe steps.
