Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fully cooked bratwurst 3-4, cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 cup sauerkraut drained
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese shredded
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 1/2 cup beer regular or non alcoholic
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Generously spray a 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray.
  2. Layer bratwurst, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese in the prepared pie plate.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, oil, beer, milk, and eggs and then whisk until the mixture is completely combined.
  4. Pour the flour mixture over the contents of the pie plate.
  5. Bake 30 to 35 minutes on the middle rack of the oven or until set and golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
