Everybody has an air fryer nowadays and every day people are coming up with more new and exciting things to make in it. I have started converting oven recipes to Air Fryer recipes because we live in Arizona and heating up the kitchen in the summer is awful. The air fryer could prove to be an awesome addition but it is going to take some experimentation.
I love Brussels Sprouts and my husband hates them. My kids are kind of on the fence. Over the last few years I started making them in different ways to see if I could sway my family and finally I found a winner. Caramelized Balsamic Brussel Sprouts. Even the hubby likes these ones. These are crisp-tender and tasty and usually done in the oven. I wasn’t sure about the air fryer but I figured it was worth a try. These come out just as good in the air fryer as they do in the oven but they take less time. I love it when that happens!
Clean and trim a pound of Brussels sprouts then cut in half if they’re small, quarters if they’re big. Place them in a bowl and add 2 tablespoons of Balsamic vinegar, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 teaspoons of minced garlic and salt and pepper to taste.
Toss until well coated and then pour onto the basket of your air fryer, shaking the basket until they are pretty much in one layer.
Cook at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Remove from air fryer and toss with remaining 1 tablespoon of Balsamic vinegar. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
